There are at least 4 Beatles albums better than abbey road
holy boomerslop
>greatest albums of all time list>it's all top 40 pop music from anglo countrieswow, it's the exact same list I would've made when I was 14
>>128235690And by this I don't mean the albums on the list are even bad but I doubt the people who made this list have ever given anything recorded past 1995 a fair chance besides Taylor Swift apparently.Just tired rehashing of albums that boomers have decided are critically acclaimed and prestigious. Throw whoever made this in a pit
>>128235690You want they put Lil Pump on there instead?
>>1282356231989 sucks and is when she sold out and stopped making music
>The Telegraph’s audience is predominantly affluent, older, and right-leaning, with a strong interest in finance, travel, and luxury lifestyle content.
>daft punk, beyoncelol
>>128235776Given that I'm surprised it didn't include more Roxy Music.
>>128235747Yes certainly
>>128235747>his knowledge of music is The Beatles and Lil Pumpback to r/Music, buddy
>taylor midlmao
>>128235747Yes I do.t. Fantano
>>128235795too artsy maybe, the list is very pleb-friendly (taylor swift...)
>>128235725They should have included Indonesian Gamelan and Khrygisitani rap just to be original
>>128235690>WAAAAAH WHY DON'T THEY PUT MY HIPSTER FAVORITES THAT NOBODY LIKES LIKE NEUTRAL KEK MOTEL AND POLYAMOROUS GEESE ON THE LIST??
>Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar above Pet SoundsThis better be in no particular order I'm telling you
hounds of love is mogged by dreaming and kick inside but i'll take it
>>128235623>46. Taylor swift - 1989>8. Beyonce - lemonadeHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHAAHAHAAHAAHAHAHAare those niggas serious.it's even a decent list if you remove 10-ish retarded choices
a top 50 albums list that omits The Velvet Underground and Nico is automatically worthless garbage.also, no Talking Heads or Joy Division.

>>128235690>boomerslop>32. Kanye west - my beautiful dark twisted fantasy >9. Daft punk - random access memories>8. Beyonce - lemonade I don't know what meth you're chewing that you think the 'rap more like crap' and 'they don't use real instruments' crowd would listen to artists like Kanye and Daft Punk. Also: if you think Paul Simon and Carole fucking King are "slop" then I'm sorry you could not have worse taste if you tried. The only real slop I see on here is Eagles and Elvis.
>>128235623Still better than the "500 greatest albums" that the scum of the earth make on aoty.org/RYM, those ignorant shit-for-brains zoomers, that make up 80% of the database, have 1/4 of it made up of cRap/hip-hop, rap, and more rap. Trash the lot of them, I hope rap starts to die out soon, and gen alfa doesn't turn into a complete disappointment like millennials/z. I prefer the NME 2013, or besteveralbums https://www.nme.com/photos/the-500-greatest-albums-of-all-time-100-1-1426116?recache=1&t=1231369 not perfect, but better than the lowbrow, trashy abominations created out of rap/post-rock/bcnr etc...
>>128235623the most boomer-esque, rolling stone cooycat list ever
>>128235623top 2 are good picks. rest of the order is trash. kanye west shouldn't be on there at all. weak list overalltoo many lightweight, limpwristed choices
>>128237365unc that's all boomer music
really sick and tired of seeing lauryn hill's overrated ass on every listfuck her and fuck that album. it's not even that good
>>128235623other shit that is severely overrated and should never be on these lists: the smithsamy winehousekendrick lamarkraftwerkmassive attackpatti smith daft punkbeyonce nirvanakate bushfleetwood macand especially marvin fucking gaye. why the fuck do they keep putting him at or near the top of all these lists lately? it's bullshit
>>128238133reading through that NME list now. still has lauryn hill on it. is that like some prerequisite for making a list or something? this list is way too indie. lcd soundsystem? wtf? bjork?sonic youth and joy division all the usual garbage you'd expect to see on a RYM list.find an actual unique list that doesn't have the clash london calling on it too. sick of seeing that everywhere. might be the most overrated album
>>128238937even Christgau acknowledged that What's Going On had a lot of filler
>>128235623>17. Bruce Springsteen - darkness on the edge of town This guy sucks ass, so does the list, what a joke.
>>128239036Tbh, one of the reasons I like this list more, is because it puts Dog Man Star so high. Suede is a criminally underrated band, especially among the big 4 of britpop, it makes no sense to see 4-7 David Bowie albums on every top 100, and at the same time see no Suede at all, even in the top 500 (rollingstone, which included 2 Oasis, Blur) reeks of ignorant pretentious/fake adulation. As a Bowie fan since I first discovered his music in 2010, I only found out about Suede last year, and didn't listen to DMS until 5 months ago (it immediately became one of my top 5 favorite albums) that's how obscure/underrated they are.
>>128235884Hello Telegraph staff writer
>>128235623Pet Sounds being at 49 is all you need to know to see that this list is shit. Too many modern, shit albums on there. The “i was born in le wrong generation” crowd has the right idea when it comes to taste in pop / rock music.
>>128239036>is that like some prerequisite for making a list or something? It's the "see? I'm not racist" pick
>>128235623>1989 over Folklore>Like a Prayer over Ray of Light>I'm Your Man over Songs of Leonard Cover>Protection over Mezzanine>Eagles>Who's Next over Quadrophenia>Aladdin Sane over TRaFoZSatSfM>Random Access Memories over Discovery>TDSotM over Wish You Were Here
>>128235623even if you're getting paid to hype up Taylor Swift why 1989? she has much better albums like Red or folklore and even those have some skips on them, half of 1989 is straight up garbage
>>128235623>50. Elton Johnstopped reading
>>128237365>The only real slop I see on here is Eagleswhen i was reading the list i was thinking the eagles were the only really great band on that worthless list
not a bad list except for taytay and beyonce
>>128235795dude… disregarding AVALON, there wasn’t a bigger band of fucking freaks on planet earth
No Oasis or blur. Edgy.
