Is it possible to have no fret buzz with low action on a Les Paul? I had to raise action on mine even after it came from a setup to remove the buzzing which was pretty noticeable on higher frets. Sometimes I feel like I'm getting some weird harmonics still when playing with distortion though that might be cause of pickups or eq I dunno. Also still need to sand the nut slots because the strings are still getting stuck in them and staying in tune is impossible. I swear, all my local techs must be retarded.

You can put Tele pickups or a PAF in a Strat and now you have the best of both, but you can't put the full power of a Strat into anything else without making some compromises and alot of routing.

Then I’m going to order the jb/59 pickups from Duncan with gold covers and have my luthier install them. It took about 40 minutes of doodling around before I found a setting I liked with the bass whammy. 1 more pedal to show up tomorrow and I'll have everything I need to copy brian gibson's sound. I got kinda close using the 5th octave on the whammy with oc5, and both overdrives. Adding the chorus and reverb didnt take away much it sounded cool and the aftershock pedal heavy setting sounds good with this combo. I think I have a jam coming up soon so I'll be happy if things work out with the DL4 Modeler.
