Some anon currently residing in Japan - PLEASE try to convince this man to come back to music

>Be Tetsu Inoue
>Make some of best lowercase/ambient music humanity has ever heard, like Carl Stone or Hiroshi Yoshimura
>Be completely unknown to this day
>There isn't even a single hi-res photo of you online
>Disappear one day
>Completely unheard of
>Niggas thought you died in the tsunami @ 2011
>In 2019 it's leaked that you made a mystery album called "Upon the Inhalation of Tomorrow" by a weird page on Facebook
>No elaboration, no release

>Fast forward a decade and some from 2011, some guy ends up meeting your cousin by accident
>"What happened to him?"
>"Oh, he just doesn't want to make music anymore."
>???

I don't want another Nujabes, I wanna atleast one more album from this guy before he dies
>>
>There isn't even a single hi-res photo of you online

that's fine. i googled him and pic-related made me laugh. apparently senor coconut is also a japanese man.
>>
>>128245838
Well, that just proves my point about how niche the man is :) Google can't figure out who he is
>>
>>128245858
anything good happening in ambient lately? i sort of stopped paying attention after the bimbo drone (positive) scene exploded.
or does it all still sound like the average 12k / room40 stuff?
>>
>>128245890
I honestly don't keep up with modern ambient, either, not because of any personal problems with the genre, I just don't like newer music all that much
>>
>>128245708
I've shelled out some cash for his CDs. Probably the best artist on the FAX label.
>>
>>128245904
eh fair enough.
i'm going to check out that carrier lp later, his run of ep's were pretty okay. about as ambient as i can handle lately (not very)
>>

Forget the EPs, go straight to World Receiver, I'm a diagnosed schizoid who feels emotion on a lower level than most of humanity but Health Loop on that album made me feel alive somehow
>>
>>128246063
Anon I meant I was going to go listen to the new lp by guy brewer/shifted/carrier
But sure I'll put this on the list
>>
>>128245708

it was rumored that tetsu is an alter ego of pete namlook
>>
>>128245912
Ohh nice, his cds are some of the more expensive ones in the fax label. I wanted ambiant otaku but the pricing for the original fax cds are too high for me right now. I might just buy Zenith or some of Shades of Orion instead.

I made a Psybient/Ambient/Trance chart with tons of FAX stuff on it and more.
>>
>>128246171
It doesn't help that the Ambient World CD reissues are also expensive and have that hideous remake artwork too.
>>
>>128246091
My retardism is proven once more.

>>128246142
I heard of this, but, well, we have interviews and pictures of the guy, and confirmation of his family members.

>>128246205
Danke schön
>>
>>128245708
I remember hearing speculation that he might've left Japan for the US.
>>
>>128246205
it's like half namlook pseudonym projects
>>

Didn't he live at 2350 Broadway in NYC?
