no rap songs in top 10? Is music healing?
>>
Thank God Billboard changed their recurrent rules last week, anything to get rid of Teddy Swims and Benson Boone.

You’re getting your memes mixed up. Redditors defend rap because it’s hecking Black art

What are the rules now?
>>
They've always done that, Mariah Carey's ten #1 hits were due to a reordering of the Billboard rules in the early 90s.

If a particular song isn't gaining in some metric, like radio or streaming, they will now be removed:
After 20 weeks if it's below #50
After 26 weeks if it's below #25
After 52 weeks if it's below #10
After 78 weeks if it's below #5

It used to be just:
After 20 weeks if it's below #50
After 52 weeks if it's below #25

And that was it. It's basically a lot harsher now on older songs, so good luck getting even close to Teddy Swims' record.

Mutt is hip hop-ish, also Cardi B is 4th on the album (streaming) chart

No redditors defend rap because it has the n word.
