This one really gets too much hate. It feels like a welcome continuation of their style of The Wall. I'm also not a big fan of Animals even if I can still appreciate the artistry and performance quality

I think their early work is the most interesting but it's their breakthrough albums after Syd left that they're obviously most known for and where they hone their craft

One of their better works imo. Can't remember the last time I've sat through it, and I can see the complaints about the guitar-work/feeling too mellow, but the great songs off it are really great (Post War Dream, Gunner's Dream, The Final Cut)
