I've listened to every Michael Jackson album and I think he he peaked here. HIStory is good but this has a better balance of songs
>>
this album sucks and has none of his well known hits.

black and white is one of his biggest hits
>>
Remember The Time fucks
>>
wow thats kind of a really disgusting cover art since he was so into photoshopped animal/child pornography
>>
>>128251478
it's not even his top 10 most streamed and not even the most streamed on the album.

I feel no one cares about this album cause "Nirvana killed his career"
that's all anyone remembers

Peeps do be sleeping on "Jam". Possibly the best new jack swing song that was made.

But overall both Thriller and Bad (and probably Off The Wall too) have fewer thin and forgettable tracks than Dangerous. Like the title track for example, it sounds like a demo/concept that needed fleshing out into a proper song.

"It don't matter if you're black or white" -- how ironic was that?!

Yeah this is my favorite MJ album - after the corny classics, before the pedo allegations. Who Is it and Give In To Me would have earned him respect from rock snobs if they weren't racist.

Is it just me who can't stand Michael Jackson's voice?

i'll always be a bit more partial to history if only for that three-punch opener of scream, tdcau, sim, and the vocal performances on the diss tracks (tabloid junkie, d.s.) despite having some truly execrable moments towards the end (childhood, smile). dangerous has some great moments, but i find the filler on the album very forgettable in a way that i haven't experienced with his other albums, which all manage to distinguish themselves in some way regardless of their actual quality.

it's not as unpopular of an opinion as you might think. he does tend to overabuse his vocal tics well past their welcome, and his naturally boyish tone sometimes works against him when he tries to reach for a meaner sound. he's skilled enough of a singer to pull it off, but lacks that natural maturity to make it convincing where it counts.

ANNIE ARE YOU OKAY

He peaked two albums ago and never recovered, quality-wise

It was one of the most popular music videos ever released at its time and a number one hit the fastest to ever hit that position, you can’t judge the impact of a hit from 91 by music streams in 2025 it’s devoid of context. I feel bad for young people

Give in to Me is the best Michael Jackson song for sure I agree 100% with this post, disco Mike is corny and played out. Invincible Mike super creepy, this is peak Jacko
