Taylor Swift has been defeated by the Kpop Demon Hunters
>>128257264Is this movie worth watching for the lulz?
>children's music dethroned by children's music
But not on the Hot 100. TayTay still at #1 there.
>>128257264TAYLORSISTERS... WAKE ME UP FROM THIS NIGHTMARETAYLORSISTERS... I DON'T WANT TO LIVE ANYMORE!!!!>>128257282It's probably a smidge overrated, but it gave me Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle vibes, which was definitely a big plus.
>>128257282It's one of those movies your friend forces you to watch that turns out to be more enjoyable than you'd thought, but i probably won't watch it again. Just not a big fan of k-pop.
>>128257264https://youtu.be/C6blOZQw3cwDid the Kpop Demon Hunters ride more A-List Disco Stick than T Swizzle?
>>128257264>globalwho cares, Opalite just replaced Golden at #2 on Spotify US

>>128257264UP UP UP IT'S OUR MOMENT
>>128257264>globalits fucking nothing
>>128257264Her topping the charts with all of the 12 songs off her new album was an orchestrated maneuver (aka bots, streaming farms, payola, etc) just so she could beat another meaningless record. It's easier than ever to cheat in the digital age. With that said, I only know her for "Shake if off" and that dubstep song released sometime in 2020 or so. An artist with no remarkable legacy. Courtney Love was right. Taylor Swift is not important.
>>128257264that song is better than her whole career.song is great btw
>>128258042>It's easier than ever to cheat in the digital age.any tips?
>>128257282its watchable
I wish someone would hunt down the Kpop Demons for real
>>128257297This lol
Streaming tends to overinflate an artist or songs popularity. It's a Small World After All is the most replayed song of all time but most would agree that it's not the most popular, streaming has a similar problem, playlists that are often on loop for businesses or shoehorned into Spotify's shuffle are not a good gauge of an artists popularity, album and singles sales were far more accurate, but we just don't live in that world anymore, so it's actually impossible to tell how popular a given artist actually is anymore.
>>128257282its trash
>>128261116you're dumb, also if you don't like streaming numbers just look at followers counts
>>128261067didn't paramore open for taylor swift? also kys
>>128257656opalite's a tough track, good for Tay!
>>128261116>playlists that are often on loop for businesses or shoehorned into Spotify's shuffle are not a good gauge of an artists popularityI made sure to block Taylor Swift on Spotify before her newest album's release because I knew they will shill her to me no matter what, and they STILL managed to sneak her latest single into a couple of completely unrelated playlists I listen to at work. I stopped using that crappy, biased platform.

Luigi was listening to Taylor Swift until his inmate replaced his music

Give it to me straight bros. Is she gonna pass the Beatles to have the most #1 hits all time? As of now she's pretty much guaranteed to have a #1 every time she releases an album. She seems unstoppable but her music is getting progressively shittier.Closest comps are Mariah Carey, who curiously faded into irrelevance in the 2010s (her 40s). There's also Rihanna, who just became mostly inactive after 2017 (her 30s).
>>128258042>An artist with no remarkable legacywhen jay-z was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame or got some lifetime grammy or some shit, it struck me as a nightmare scenario where you realize your legacy is no actual songs of your own, just repurposed samples that people remember
