These headphones sound like shit. 2024 v2 version. No matter how I set the EQ, they sound unnatural, the midrange is weird, 0 details, but I'm hesitant to sell them because they are cheap and super comfortable. I'm still trying to figure out how to make them sound acceptable

Are you listening on your telephone?

just get m50s
audio technica is the industry standard at this point and the music can't get any better than with the headphones they were mixed with
also open back sucks unless you really need to hear around you

To make them sound good you need to raise the subbass (everything below 60hz) substantially with a shelf and then raise the 2k area too. Those headphones are great with EQ but stock they have recessed high mids and sound unexciting

Also mine died in less than a year...and comfortable, really? They are heavy and huge, they are definitely not comfortable but that's just planar headphones, they tend to be bigger and heavier

how do you even listen to music without open backs? the added out of control added reverb from closed headphones is crazy, i dont understand how someone would want to listen to music like that

Those are $100. No surprise at all that they sound like shit.
I got the Edition XS and I think they sound fantastic. Ended up switching out my HD6XX's for them. Build quality is abysmal though and they're not very comfortable.
