>>128262745I think David Fricke called it the "very first 70s album" despite coming out in 69 and the older I get, the more I agree with him. It sounds like the ultimate transition of the prior psychedelic and baroque detours of pop music into the loose hard rock the Stones would come to perfect. Fingers and Exile may be more iconic, but they wouldn't exist without Let It Bleed - still probably my second favorite Stones right underneath Exile
