>Negative Spaces is nothing but nu and modern metal with very little experimenting beyond Crystallized, nothing in it is really a miss but nothing is particularly exceptional either. It's just an album settling into to being an unimaginative genre seller.
Imagine peaking in 2020 of all years. I don't genuinely give a fuck if her tour or merch numbers are doing better now than before, that's almost assuredly because metal fans have low standards and will settle for anything that's decent. Modern metal is an overhyped mediocre shitfest and she's just edging in on it instead of even trying to be anything unique.
