Does anyone here play the Lute?
I want to get a Renaissance lute but I'm not sure how many courses I should get for my first instrument
Is it a hard instrument? I used to play the classical guitar as a kid but I lost interest and now my work has destroyed my nails so I can't play it with nails, apparently the lute is more authentically played with the flesh
How many courses should I get if I'm a francophile?
Also why does the EMS sell a reasonably priced theorbo but not a baroque lute? I would have thought a theorbo would be extremely expensive whilst baroque lutes would be more affordable
