Will there be senior citizen millennials in the future who listen to fall out boy and my chemical romance and claim that it’s “real music” in the same way boomers do with the beatles and the doors?
>>
MCR is alright, but fuck no to Fall Out Boy. FOB was fucking trash.

No because nobody except 12 year old girls who shopped at Hot Topic ever cared about that music.

They’ve always had a diverse fanbase zoomer

I hate boomers, and I think The Doors is more "real" than 2000s pop rock. Nobody is going to miss those bands in 20 years
Even if it was a CIA psyop and Jim's dad was a high-ranking official or something, that only makes it more interesting
You have to understand that "le wrong generation" meme doesn't work anymore because the industry is obviously changing for the worse, and I think it's pretty hard to argue against that
Not that things were perfect back then, things were never perfect, but AI, post-capitalism, the internet, and big corporations have destroyed anything authentic or real

Erm actually mr satan those bands are mostly liked by girls and most of it's millennial fans grew out of it in their 20's anyways. Oldest zoomers are in their 20's and either still like it or have "rediscovered" it. Case in point all the zoomies spamming threads. I'll be 67 one day and say. "Ya know Dance Dance was actually not so bad... It was pretty good... Wait who even made that song...? Ah it was probably Green Day or some shit."

my chemical romance is good

Strange how MCR is the only emo pop band to get rehabilitated when FOB was always better
>>

>>
>>128277666
They're already doing that and they're not even their forties yet

From Under The Cork Tree is one of the best albums ever made
>>
>>128277666

already are. Boomers love the '60s and '70s. Xers have the '90s. Millennials have the '00s and teens.

No unless they have a double digit IQ.
