>>128294392very basic bitch album. its the same theme repeated endlessly with minor variations. horrible album
>>128294392Comfortably Numb is the best song and The Final Cut is better album. And leaving What Shall We Do Now was a mistake
>>128294682The final cut only has two good songs. The last two, it is een more inconsistent and boring than The Wall

The Wall [Columbia, 1979]For a typical dumb tributations of a rock star epic, this isn't too bad--certainly unlikely to arouse much pity or contempt, anyway. The music isn't too bad either--minimalist-maximalist kitsch complete with sound effects and speech fragments. But the story is confused, "mother" and "modern life" make for unconvincing villains, and if the recontextualization of "up against the wall" is intended ironically, I don't get it. B-
>>128294392It's great when you're an angsty teen but you get over it. Great guitars though but not enough Rick Wright. For me Rick and David's interplay is the beauty of the PF sound.
