What's idiotic about it? Most of Hanks legend comes from his lifestyle and his songwriting. He's a mostly horrible vocalist. Extremely grating. The Possum, on the other hand, is the single greatest vocalist country music has ever known. Powerful, heartfelt, effective. Not knocking Hank's importance but if we're talking sheer vocal ability then this is no contest whatsoever.
