>>128312528I disagree.oM were never "respectable", from their early days of being a lo-fi Beatles knockoff from Georgia to their ridiculous and over-the-top performances in their zenith. I love their early albums but they were cartoonish and whimsical, most certainly clownlike. Really the only difference between Hissing Fauna and whatever Kevin puts out today is that his new music is worse (it also doesn't help that no one cares about indie anymore) and if you just wanted to say "oM was a good band that got worse over time" then yeah, I agree, but they don't fit the meme at all.
