>it's bad because it's too similar to ITCOTCKWhy exactly is that a bad thing?
>>128316031it's nice to hear more stuff that sounds like ITCOTCK because that had a vibe they never really did again, that's far from the issue. the big issue is everything's just worse
>>128316052>the big issue is everything's just worseThe title track is as good as Epitaph or maybe even better
>>128316031The Devil's Triangle should have been scrapped
No that's why it's worthwhile because they changed so much you never get to enjoy more of one albums sound. Still it all sounds like lesser B sides/outtakes to court. >>128316129Yeah the album really lacked a good climax/endnote
>>128316031CAT FOODCAT FOODCAT FOODAGAINE!
Pictures Of A Citythatvis all
>>128316031replace Devil's Triangle with Travel Weary Capricorn -> Drop In -> Mars and this would be a fuckin banger
>>128316031that's not what makes it inferior exactly, but rather than trying to create something original with lots of inspirations from various musical acts and incorporating new complexity and innovating (the creation of ITCOCK) instead they copied themselves and decided to create the same thing, being less innovative, less impressive, less catchy, less melancholic, less pf what made ITCOCK great really
>>128316031because ITOTCK is mid for King Crimson.
"The" shouldn't really be included as a letter in an acronym. You prog guys should have to call that album ICOCK
>>128316031In the Wake of Poseidon [Atlantic, 1970]For a long time I thought this was the worst rock band in history simply because it was the most pretentious, but sometimes pretensions are (at least partially) earned. Their second album is more muddled conceptually than In the Court of the Crimson King, quite a feat. But they're not afraid to be harsh, they command a range of styles, and their dynamics jolt rather than sledgehammer (properly electric, that). Also, they can play: kudos to drummer Michael Giles and guitarist Robert Fripp, who also illustrates the old adage, "Better a Mellotron than real strings." C+
>>128324051kill yourself
>>128324070No
No one wants the same thing over again. There was this video game called Tears of the Kingdom by Zelda and no one liked it because it was the same game as the one that came before it
This is far superior to Court because it doesn't have fucking Moonchild
