I say yes, not as anyone who is pro AI, there is just too much money to be made by eliminating the human element. But i predicted when AI first came out that there would be a backlash that led to some sort of romanticism for humanity, lots of art tagged "human made", as if it were more authentic.But ultimately the machine will win. And people will be able to customize a sound at the push of a button. And if people want to see it performed live, maybe there might be hologram concerts like gorrliaz and miku. Or maybe the DJ will rule over all, pressing a button and putting on a light show for ravers to drug out to.I wonder most of all how this will effect society, black people in particular have speclized in making music, and now its just gone?there will be a backlash but most people who arent artists dont give a fuck, they just want instant gratification

Anyone who isn't using AI tools to make music right now is going to get left behind within the next 5 years. This goes for all forms of creative output. It's simply natural selection. There will be mountains of shitty AI music being pumped out, just like there always has been every time music became more accessible to make, but there are those who will use it as a tool to do things with music that were never possible before and will reach creative heights that we haven't even conceived of yet. Hating AI is going to be as stupid as people in the 90s saying CGI wasn't real art and the only real movies were traditional film and hand drawn animation.
