I'm a guitar player who bought a bass a few years ago. I haven't played it much but my friend started a post hardcore/metalcore band that's picking up steam locally and he wants me to join on bass. What do? How do I get proficient on bass as a guitar player? Any tips/tricks/helpful videos would be much appreciated especially from people who were in my position (Guitar->Bass).
