i went to private schools so i really dislike uniformseven if i've listened to shit like misfits and dead kennedys since i was 12, i never felt the need to wear the punk uniformthe other day i went to the beach with some friends that play in bands and shit and we were all wearing trunks and shit, and then this bass player for a local crust punk band showed up wearing boots, black jeans and his battle vest to the beachi couldn't imagine doing that, shit is so anti-individualand don't even get me started on the 2000s mallgoth/pop punk "emo" get-ups that shit was nasty
