he just came up on my youtube feed a couple days ago after not checking him out for years.

can't say i'm an expert, but seemed to have a pretty chill act. he was a left-wing folkie, so as a conservative not inclined to like, but he never seemed a cringe left-wing emo leftie from what I heard.

might have been the last guy to make a pretty decent living doing the old talking blues, laid back folkie style.

a style that probably ages way better than any other genre. I mean nothing is more cringe than somebody doing intense styles like punk, metal, even regular rock into their 40's and 50's faking youthful intensity. but dude could do his funny little slice of life stories backed by a jaunty folk guitar rhythm like he always did and not have to fake anything.
