>been making music for 15 years>still terrible
I made my first good track about 2 years after I started making music. then I kept releasing a mix of good and bad stuff for another few years. once I had been making music for about 5 years I decided to do some more quality control. so for the past 7 years I'd say I've only been releasing good music, but much more infrequently. if you want advice, I'd say to spend more time on individual projects and practice as much quality control as you can

The thing of it is, I have all the free time in the world and do pretty much nothing but practice yet I always get stuck in a beginner/intermediate level at everything. I've just come to realize I'm just retarded.>been using FL Studio for like 15 years, have only made like 1 good song in all this time.>been playing guitar for 6 years now, even though I know a ton of theory I still can't come up with any interesting rhythms or solos. All my shit sounds the same.>been drawing for 12 years, hit a roadblock about 8 years ago and haven't got better since>been computer programming for 17 years, still have issues understanding the most basic algorithms and data structures
