>>128486610this band peaked with the first song on their debut
>>128486788They fell off after their 2012 album. Their new shit sucks hard.
they had a song in burnout. that was probably their peak
>>128486610Their debut album was literally the only good one. I remember hearing River Below when I was 10 and it was one of those songs that began my general interest in music
>>128487401You're talking out your butt, son.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqP4-dUMkMc
>>128487421The only decent part of this song is the chorus. The verse and the overall vibe of the song is extremely gay and cringe. They sounded better with the slightly more aggressive tone of their debut album

>>128487441I remember when this came out. Would pop the CD into my mom's car stereo regularly. It is a catchy song, but you have to recognize that it released around the same time that Fall Out Boy and MCR were exploding, so they were kind of wanting to follow the more emo/alt trend after having a more harder rock alternative sound of their debut. I just prefer the heavier sound of the debut
>>128487459YEAH I GUESS, OKAY. I TRIED NIGGA. The first album was their best, but I feel like they were a solid band until the 10s.
Great band
>>128487470Meh, idk. I never really gave them a try after the second album. Really hard to follow up their 1st
>>128486905Lot of kino in that game
>>128486905Burnout Revenge. That game was fun as hell
Self-titled came out literally on my 14th birthday.
Remember hearing them for the first time in the movie Grind and falling in love, that debut will never be topped by them. Shame they ended up altering their sound a bit, they have the potential to be so good and they aren't terrible (well, were) but fuck, that debut is just something else.Living In The Shadows is so good
I still listen to this
>>128487441Say what you want about the band, but this song goes unbelievably hard.
>>128488502>Say what you want about the bandDidn't mind if I doAaron's drumming is great for beginners to get into, it's just the right level of simplicity to be accessible while also not being fucking boring. He has great time feel as well. Ian's guitar parts are goated, very few people use dropped tunings to NOT play chugga chugga riffs. Tone is always on point. Plus he co-produces their stuff and the production is top notch so good job on that.Don't know what their bassists name is (John?) but his tone is exactly what a bass should sound like imo. Stingrays tend to be too clacky in a lot of other people's hands but his is just punchy and mid-rangey and I love it.Not a big fan of Ben's voice, he can sound very whiney. But he does a good job of conveying emotion, and not many people can nail the sort of singing he does so I respect it.
