Hi /mu/ lately ive been needing to find a melachonic/depressing J-band or group that can help when im feeling down. The only issue is that i dont like it sounding cheerful or try to cheer me up. I just like to immerse myself in music that matches my mood i would prefer bands that would be also good to listen to when trying to sleep. Any recommendations?

I listen to J-metalcore mostly. J-Altrock sounds melancholic to me even when it's optimistic because I associate it with anime openings and endings.

Yeah im the same way. Im mostly just looking for something more depressive or emotionally low and my own searches havent really bore much fruit unfortunately.
