I posted about this just as the old thread died, so I'm going to post about it again here.I saw Spirit Possession last night and they were awesome. 2-piece black metal, and both members wore Tom G Warrior makeup on stage. The guitarist player with a finger-plucking style instead if using a pick and it sounded great. I never expected to see that in a black metal band, but it makes sense considering how common arpeggios are in black metal. The guitarist was also controlling the band's custom lighting right with a footswitch, and there were times when he turned the lights off so the band could play in the dark.They opened for Ulcerate. Not trve black metal, I know. But I can properly do NBBMN every year because I work at a radio station producing a show that's not metal. I make sure to slip in some black metal on the show every week in the November every year in honor of you guys, though.
