The blue cancer has infected us deep, the dose of chemo we had may have bought us some time but the way cancer goes once you've got it once its just a matter of time, be good to your community and raise your kids well, some of us are fortunate to already be in our 30s or older so we only have to trudge through this dystopia for another half of our life, we made it over the hump. Having my first kid next month and setting them up is the best thing I can hope to accomplish in this life. My dad gave me the gift of music and I'll give the same and if they cherish it they'll at least be great at playing and songwriting by the time they're 18, I learned drums at 16 but it took me til 18 to start learning guitar but I'm pretty good now at least.

Art, in general, is in its end stage. But all is not lost, is it? We have countless albums, films, etc., to enjoy and mull over. Stop looking to current generations for anything substantial and start exploring the work of great artists from the past whom you may not have paid much attention to - but keep in mind, in order for most people in the current (((year))) to appreciate the work of, say, Bach or Shakespeare or Ingmar Bergman, they need to rewire their brains to stop prioritizing the immediate release of large amounts of dopamine in favor of a sustainable spiritual fulfillment.
