OP here, forgot the rest of my post.

This album isn't as catchy as roots, but I think this is one of the standout tracks on the album.
One of the strangest things is that this is the only track with japanese instruments (the flutes and taiko drums) despite the album having japanese aesthetics (like those masks on the cover) and the band even travelling to japan to record this song.
It actually fuses those traditional instruments with distorted guitars in an interesting way. which is what I was wondering if there was stuff similar to.

I'm not sure how I feel about the album overall, it seems rather different to both more traditional metal and nu-metal. Something about the riffs and the song structure as well.
