>he doesn't use Spotify or Apple Music
>>128496088Correct
>>128496088I use Tidal, it's great.
>>128497211It's technically shit, servers are overloaded in Europe all the time. But I love how good the credits are compared to Spotify or AM. You don't have to look at Wikipedia to see who played Maracas on this particular tune.
>>128496088I use Youtube music
>>128496088i still yoink music off of yt-dlp and some super shitty ytmp3 sites
Lies
>>128496088That's when you flip it on them for supporting ICE/Spotify and then you look at them with the ick
>>128496088i use apple music and it's the worst of the three music streaming platforms i've used, the other two being spotify and tidal. adding songs to my library is a choreo because like 70% of the time it gets stuck and i have to restart the app and add the songs all over again. the audio quality of streamed (not downloaded) songs is garbage even after changing the settings. i only use it because there are some releases on apple music that for whatever reason aren't on spotify or tidal.
>>128497387Do you have an iphone
>>128497414no. i don't own any apple products.
>>128497387>adding songs to my library is a chorethis is the problem with people not owning things physically. You dont own those files if you have apple music or spotify, you are just renting them while you're on the subscription plan. Meanwhile the CDs I own I can rip them and put them on apple music or spotify locally. If you don't outright buy the album from apple/spotify (god forbid you ACTUALLY buy music digitally instead of physically) then you should just stream it.
>>128496088KEK I don't care what anybody thinksI'm 24 and I have used mp3 players since I was 11 and I have never owned a smartphone in my life. I have old boomer parents
>>128497211>Tidal still existstf
by not using algorithms for music it takes a lot more effort to find music but when I do I know I found that shit not anyone else not a machine not a robot I did that shit same applies to RYM or any other music service
I'm still downloading songs over 20 years later, but on the occasion I want something on the spot, I just open Spotify on Brave.
