he just made the best album of his careerapologize
>>128496957I never doubted you Daniel
this is his first instrumental album since r+7took you long enough
>>128496957I never doubted Dan been a longtime fan, however I did definitely think Magic OPN was a big falling off in quality that had a couple of really good songs. I still own the vinyl for the great artwork and because I'm a completionist, but I also know to temper expectations for an artist that makes very very involved experimental music that he will have eras of extremely good output, then reorganizing his ideas eras, and then presumably more top tier shit. So even though I maybe only loved 1/3 of Again, I can see the bigger picture of his art and being such a big fan, I'm willing to go with him through different phases of his music. I haven't heard any of the singles from the upcoming album but I'm sure they're all over the place given the snippets I've accidentally heard on Instagram. So I know he's working with a wide pallette and is going deep into the world of sound, looking forward to it. Side note, I saw him on the Again tour and while I absolutely loved the live visual presentation, I was disappointed at how little live manipulation of the setlist was actually noticeable. He did sing live with a vocoder and do a completely live version of Lost but Never Alone which was awesome, but other than that it just felt like a playlist. Even though he had pedals and synths on stage. Sad I didn't see him live in 2015 with that live band he was touring with.
Is it out??? very impressed with the stuff released so far
>>128497814only thing out right now is a vinyl rip
people seem to be loving it, but these are just his hardcore fans rating it so far
>>128497807>Sad I didn't see him live in 2015 with that live band he was touring with.same, really I wish he toured anywhere other than ~3 major cities in the US and some music festivals>>128497814>>128497873there was a digital rip in a .zip on soulseek, but the guy hosting it went offline and nobody else is sharing the fucking thing even though I know people have it
>>1284969576 songs outhow you know its da best
>>1284979777 are officially out, but the whole thing leaked because physical releases came out early
I'm sorry for giving up on you daniel. It won't happen again.
go to bed daniel.....
>>128496957Is it more nostalgiaslop posing as high art through clever marketing?
>>128498189it's aotyslop
>>128498207So it's the turd at the top of a mountain of shit?
>>128498216that would be turdmaxxing, don't conflate the two
>>128498226>turdmaxxing Lmao that's a perfect way to describe OPNLiterally lol'ing my ass off rn
i think we're a long long way off me skipping a new OPN release, so of course i'll listen to it, but liking it is a different can of wormsthough his music is never a waste of time
>>128497901>already down .05we got too cocky....
can anyone upload and link this shit here, soulseek isn't cooperating and I don't feel like waiting another 4 days to hear this
>>128498293at least wait for a cd rip like a civilized person
>>128498235how will opn ever recover from this?
>>128498293Yeah someone on red mentioned a copy on soulseek but I'm not seeing it anywhere, might be down
I'm naming my first child Rodl now
Leak it Daniel please for fucks sake
>>128500315that's his new best song

soulless artificial noise made on a computer will never be music
Am I the only one who would love to see another Ford & Lopatin album?
His best since ReplicaThanks, Daniel
>>128496957havent listened to it yetim hyped
>>128496957Isn't it just repackaged New Age music?
>>128503125>isn't it just repackaged commercials?that's how reductive you'd sound if you were talking about replica
>>128503125That was r plus 7.
I feel like people really overhated Again. It's possibly my 3rd favorite of his behind GoD and Replica then closely followed by RP7.
>>128503236For some reason I was really turned off by the opening single. It was the Frankie Sinatra effect.
Where’s the link?
>>128503390>>128501113>>128500009>>128498293https://www.filemail.com/d/xvbnpobagpdkxxb enjoy
>>128503707Thanks for making sure I don't get angry messages from soulseek sharers.
>>128503707Lovely, thank you
Delay Lama spotted on Vestigel
It's so fucking good, thank u Daniel.
>>128503326>singleoneohtrix point never is ass at choosing singles, i know it's probably the label but fuck, every single one he's chosen for his recent stuff is terrible. he's not a singles artist to begin with.
>>128496957is he a youtuber?
>>128496957>he just made the best album of his careerso can you post it?
>>128503707>404: Page not founddude might be ITT and he just DMCA your file or something
>>128503707nvm I got it, link works, thanks man and FLAC too best sound quality
>>128504791it's still up for me
>>128504802I got it already im listening to it
>>128503707is this the vinyl rip or what?
>>128505853seems to be all digital. I know the initial version of it had all the non-singles as 88200khz sample rate .wavs for some reason (with no data above cd quality) but whoever I grabbed it from had already downsampled those to normal CD quality. I just converted it all to FLAC and tagged it
>>128503707Beast and legend ty
>>128496957Why are you here dan
is it actually good or are you guys just trying to get me hard then prevent me from cumming when I listen to it
>>128506664the singles managed to cover almost all the best tracks on it
>>128506697I haven't listened to the singles yet, so that doesn't bother me
its cool but def not his bestsounds like the sparse moments of replica, r+7 and age of. i liked the more 'acoustic band' sound he was doing on again, Tranquilizer would have been better as multiple EPs.i miss the rifts - age of days.
>>128496957Is it similar to R Plus Seven? I used to listen to that when I'd take lsd.
>>128509241yeah kind of, closer to replica sampling but r+7 sounds / textures.
>>128509223a rare age of fan spotted in the wild
>>128509532yeah i felt the response was a bit too critical and the album has aged well.'still stuff that doesn't happen' , 'toys 2' , really really good songs. 'the station' also great. i think that it was kind of a - grab bag, greatest hits sort of vibe. when i read an interview and he called 'babylon' his bruce springsteen song, the album clicked even more.i think people were expecting another radical left turn post GoD but this was more an evolution than a switch up
>>128509605the main issue people have with it is that there's a lot of bad singing on it
