What could be done to improve Spotifys algorithm?

>nb4 "hurr durr its da bestest algorithm in durr worlds hurr

Its not bad especially for older genres but what DONT you like about Spotify algorithm?

For me, its the lowest tiers of artists. I guess artists at or under 250k views. It seems completely random what it gets placed to even though such a large number of views should be enough to almost find identical matches. Has previous decades of stream botting permanently ruined Spotifys algorithm?

i get the same promotional crap regardless of what i listen to and i follow over 900 artists on spotify

We’re never really gonna understand how the algorithm works until a couple of Hyper Autists test it in-depth with fresh accounts and all that.
Aside from recommending stuff in the same genre, I don’t think it actually looks at specific notes, chords, or tunings — it mostly just uses genre labels and what other users with similar taste might listen to.
It would be sick if the algorithm actually analyzed chords or note patterns, though. It would be revolutionary.
