These guys disappeared up their own asses eventually but the debut album is actually great and undeservedly overlooked.
True dat. They were compared to Led Zeppelin at the time only because their lead singer looked like Robert Plant (I think he lost his hair shortly after, or shaved it off) and they had never even listened to Led Zeppelin. They sounded closer to The Stone Roses and that's who they said was their influence.A few decent singles on the 2nd album too but yeah the UK press just stopped supporting their rock artists in the 2000s.

There was a band called A who picked that name so they would be at the front of all the artists in the CD racks in music stores, this was in the early 2000s and searching for "A" on the internet is not good for a band name. They were never going to be that much bigger anyway but that was a stupid name.
