Who and why?
>>128693597Tchaikovsky is good for a Slav. Unfortunately his intellectual value is diminished by his gushing and "Vaginal" characteristic, being a homosexual, unlike the firm "Penile" Wagner.
>>128693597I like some Tchaikovsky pieces and think his 6th is one of the greatest symphonies of all time, but this really isn't a contest. Wagner is just next level. Speaking of Russians, Scriabin was the best.

I havent heard everything by a long shot but so far I prefer Tchaikovsky. Wagner tbf Im trying to follow the german and I think the language exercise has distracted me from the music.
>>128693597How is this a question? Tchaikovsky. Nobody listens to opera.
>>128697832Ironic comment considering Tchaikovsky literally wrote operas. Also, Wagner wrote "music dramas"; they're closer to through-composed symphonies with singing than traditional opera.
