>>128702801that forest album is cool. idk the rest tho. stars of the lid are cool. their refinement and decline is another good one of theirs or try vishudha kali - unfinished devastation narrative for more nice ambient. or lee noble - horrorism>>128699091gang starr and cocteaus and fsa. also I recognise that album w white cover and splodges of green and tree and Im sure Ive heard it but I cant place it rn>>128698873ummmm stars of the lid are cool. their refinement and decline is another good one of theirs or try vishudha kali - unfinished devastation narrative for more nice ambient. or lee noble - horrorismthat was lazy but I dont know any of the others >>128698796oh god. oh no. its following me>bugsy malonewe watched this with the kids about a month ago and they are OBSESSED. >>128703840I listened a couple of tracks, sounds promising. stealing a couple of albums now, thanksif you like the british folk/folk rock sound, you might like Sproatly Smith they mix folk sounds with little modern touches, a bit like Greanvine or The Owl Service. try The Yew and the Hare or Pixieledor I got these series of compilations recently, Folklore Tapes Calendar Customs Vols 1-4, A Year in the Country, also 4 vols, and Dark Britannica vols 1-5. I skipped through them quickly and found a bunch of artists to check out, slowly giving them all a proper listen but thatll take a while cos theyre quite long and its absolutely tons and tons of music but so far theyre been a great source of new stuff
>>128696802+Mozart, Horace SilverTry some Telemann, listen to "EINE WEIHNACHTSMUSIK". >>128696886Joe Pass is really nice, so is Oscar Peterson (although some of his tunes can be a bit cheesy and too easy listening for me). >>128704399I work from home and have music on most of the day. I sometimes pay attention, sometimes use it as background. my attention span for full concentration on work stuff is about an hour or hour and a half, then I take a 10 or 15 minute break for tea and music. I could work right through and sometimes have to ofc but I find overall I’m more productive and just happier with regular short breaks, so I might listen to part of an album then turn it down a bit and have the rest play quietly while I get onalso some of the things on my chart >>128703654are short EPs or if theyre classical theyre not really albums anyway like the Turina I listened earlier, it was one piano piece in 4 or 5 short movements, only about 15 minutes. or the Debussy I think I just listened the string quartet, so 20 minutes or so of an hour-plus albumalso, what that other guy said>>128704549the one with the worms is DISGUSTING ewwww I hate it
