Is it kino?

It’s their weakest album narratively, and the songs overall are too produced for my taste. Too much shit going on when all their best songs are actually fairly simple.

The Good Doctor, The Stand, Light Yp the Night, and Will of One are still their best songs

don't listen to this fag, it's the finale to a 20 year prog trilogy. the production was necessary. it's a love letter to 80's metal, 80's hard rock and classic synth. if you're doing that, you go big or go the fuck home, and they delivered.

For me, it's "No Way Back", "Calling Out", "This City Made Us" and "Hold Back the Night"

If it ends at "The Fate of Thomas Light?" No. Too many loose plot threads left hanging (heh).
If there's at least 2-3 more songs including "The Fight?" Yeah probably, though the plot feels like it'll be leaning even more heavily on the libretto notes than Act II's did.
Regardless of anything else, "The Good Doctor - Part 2" is DEFINITELY kino as all get out.

Did /mu/ ever like the Protomen? It was more of a /v/ thing. Act 3's announcement thread hit bump limit.

I feel a bit bad in a way for not being able to appreaciate/take very seriously futurism again. In the past, it could be very fascinating and new, and its possibilities were distant things, only existent in our imagination. We could romanticize the future and believe it was gonna be the way we were interested in. Today, it's all clichés and things that are not interesting or cool anymore because they already exist in real life. It seems futurism is over for good, sadly, because I loved it.

But that is just my random thoughts on futurism in general. I haven't listened to this album. Maybe I will like the songs.

What does Futurism have to do with the album?
