English-language rap music is losing international popularity. Acts like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Travis Scott, etc. were not in the top 10 this year on many international charts beyond the US or Canada. Instead, Caribbean reggaeton seems to be taking its place. Why is that?
