Did Diddy actually make any beats?
>>
>>128713002
Nope. Ready to Die was primarily made by Easy Mo Bee and Chucky Thompson. Diddy was a promoter.
>>
i think there are some good productions on Ma$e's debut

Thanks to an all-star team of Jermaine Dupri, The Neptunes and in-house producers for Bad Boy.

so Diddy truly is a..........talentless hack?
>>
>>128713178
He had a talent for making dosh and procuring hookers.
>>
>>128713002
Gross nigger.
>>
>>128713123
you're massively downplaying what Diddy did. he could listen to 1000 Easy Mo Bee beats and pick out the 2 or 3 that would be hits.

>>128713178
he was capable of dropping a dope verse, his verse on Been Around the World is a classic

Part and Bullshit was 100% Easy Mo Bee. It's just a 4 chord minor progression but wow it was so coooollll
>>
Rap sucks, glad I'm not a wigger
>>
>>128713002
Looks like Malcolm X before he converted to Islam.
>>
>>128713002
He beat Cassie all right.
>>
>>128713178
the Tupac confession he put in the chorus to Black Rob's Muscle Game was pretty dope.
>>
Diddy and the Family or whatever was a pretty good album, I used to play Smackdown vs Raw to it
>>
>>128713002
He Diddy didn't
>>
Everyone knows he never made beats. He did bring specific samples in to producers though. He was an ideas man.

To follow up my own post I was thinking the other night about what the most stereotypical Bad Boy sample is. Some flamboyant gay disco shit. Either that or a way too obvious pop hit. He probably never read this but he did what it said to do anyway:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Manual

The result? Millions of dollars and lots of classic records. Not everything Bad Boy related fits that description obviously. Something like Gimmie The Loot or Kick In The Door is different. But if you watch the Netflix documentary you can understand the duality of this man. A person who had an ear for both fag shit and the sound of the streets.
