>This shit is 20 (twenty) years old now.How does that make you feel?
Nothing, time passes, that's life.
Isn't this exactly where you'd like me I'm exactly where you'd like me you know
give me envy give me malice give me YOUR attention
>>128714241fpbp
>>128714229Just for the record the weather today is slightly sarcastic with a good chance of A. indifference and B. disinterest for what the critics say
For me it's Pretty Odd and I wish they just stayed together and did more like it
>>128714254>>128714309>>128714340>WELL I’M AFRAID THAT I
how the fuck I used to listen to this shit I can't understand
>>128714229I'm not gay nor a woman and I have a mind of my own, so this album is a load of trash to me.
>>128714446I still listen to it
>>128714470if you really had a mind of your own you could admit the melodies and arrangements are pop perfection
>>128714501>Pop perfection circa mid 00'sBack to Black was one year away, retard.
>>128714520>muh boomerstalgiabait
>>128714254Don't you move
>>128714769
>>128714415>did more like itThat was The Young Veins album and it's not as good as Pretty. Odd.. I would have hoped they'd have kept genre-hopping every other album in-between core P!ATD releases.
>>128714446Listen to it again. You got tricked by the older kids and the others trying to be le cool like them into thinking this sucked, when actually, it's better than all the shit they are telling you to listen to instead.
>>128714921you're still trying so hard lmao so cute
>>128714470>I'm a le freethinker>that's why I dismiss the album based on others labelling it "emo", because all emo is le gay>haven't listened to it btwnobody's falling for this shit anymorecome next year all of you will be told to kill yourselves immediately every time you try to pull this
>>128714229i never liked this band desu
>>128714229I was as out of touch with popular culture then as I am now
>>128714908> That was The Young Veins album and it's not as good as Pretty. Odd.. I would have hoped they'd have kept genre-hopping every other album in-between core P!ATD releases. You know, I love The Young Veins a LOT but I can definitely admit this. I think a lot of it had to do with it being their first outing (still finding their footing) and also lacking some of Brendon’s more “pop” sensibilities. And I say this as a guy who believes The Young Veins is far better than post Ross exit panic. Man I wished they did the genre hopping. The nearly witches demo was something else and I’m saddened we were robbed of getting Cricket and Clover.
>>128714229I really like the AFYCSO *era* but the actual album is an inferior product because it replaces the demo tracks with downgrades:Time To Dancehttps://youtu.be/fVtUA3fEykwCamisadohttps://youtu.be/Fe3HflTtnJwI grew up listening to these from Limewire so I was horrified after buying the album and listening to it through the first time, with its "official" tracks. It was a Top 10 anime betrayal.
>>128714921I was listening to it when I made that post and it's awful
>>128714994where are these so called "emo" panic fanboys?since when did this prepubescent garbage start being considered as "emo"?
>>128715050Thoughts on the Live In Denver tracks? I know some who liked the demos more said those renditions were closer to what they wanted. Plus hearing Ross’s vocals was nice.
>>128715037I like Lonely Moonlighthttps://youtu.be/IopzvBSIYkwBut I only heard this for the first time a few years ago. He sabotaged his own career with all the lack of releases and radio silence. Maybe he got discouraged by the perhaps lackluster reception of Take A Vacation and ragequit. I think he's at fault for not trying harder, or at all, rather. Giving up his own band is literally stopping trying, even.
>>128715092If this is anything to go by,https://youtu.be/0T8ejy3clxEIt feels like it's selling you gimmicked novelty and extra vocal flourish to try to make up for the inherently diminished sound quality of the format, on top of still being primarily based on the inferior version of the track. I don't feel like this does anything interesting or compelling enough to distinguish it from studio-level quality, unlike for example these MSI tracks where you get even more raw energy, as well as shedding some of the studio overproduction burdening them:(Studio | Live)https://youtu.be/vVBYJ69KT_Ahttps://youtu.be/U_7TxfCIwHghttps://youtu.be/EP6hcGejOfAhttps://youtu.be/oT5Skn4hetUhttps://youtu.be/6TWQROmm52Uhttps://youtu.be/P0iKC3ibl5c
I'm glad Panic! ended, shit was beyond unrecognizable at this point.

Because the problem was never level of talent or quality. He definitely had it. Take A Vacation might’ve had a lackluster success, but I think he and the band would have gained a loyal sizable following had they kept going. Maybe not to the level of Brendon’s solo project, but it would’ve stuck. Also it came out what? 2010? It came at a time where artists had it hard making money off the internet anyway right? If Ryan rode the growing pains out, kept coming out with releases, and refining his sound, he would’ve succeeded. From what I hear, the band equipment did get stolen, his manager hacked his accounts and deleted the SoundCloud, and he dealt with a stalker fan who was LARPing as Brendon Urie that gave him false hope for a collab. I don’t blame Ryan entirely for giving up, but patience would’ve gone a long way.
>>128715417Well said.
