I think Josh Homme still has one great album inside of him, and I think for that to happen he needs to go back to songs like Running Joke and QOTSA's cover of Christian Brothers. Make a more mellow and somber version of Lullabies to Paralyze I'd say.
The Alive in Catacombs project was a step in that direction, I would say. There are flaws with that, of course, and I don't think his voice is as strong as it used to be, but I think we can be hopeful.
