looking at these adam t5v monitors cause they're on sale for 200 cad. does anyone have them and can say how they are for rock with heavy guitars? i have heard varying reports of the bass response especially, as everyone basically agree the highs are very detailed and sweet sounding.
alternately is there anything you prefer at that price point? the big battle seems to be with the yamaha but those are meant to be very pokey in the mids and fatiguing to work with

You're not going to get good bass extension on a 5" woofer. Simple as.
