Their first two singles were so fucking good man, it sucks SO bad how they've changed
I know Greep isn't to everyone's tastes but at least he's carried that impish, perverse quality over into his post- black midi work, he may be from a posh background but you don't get the feeling with him that he's just some bland naive rich kid playing up a front, he's a sincere David Byrne-tier weirdo and any smugness on his part is well-earned through craft

The entire band was driven by Issac. They tried very hard to make it seem he was just a part of a whole equation and they could do just as well without him by changing styles entirely, but it has become apparent he was not just the singer but the actual songwriting force who made the effort it somewhat worthwhile.
Maybe the continue but they are never hitting the early album highs again and are just exposing themselves at this point
