I don’t think the average person appreciates the effort required to synchronize both hands.

>hey i can plays the guitars!! aints i cools fellow /mu/sic men
fuck you, retarded underage poster
>>
i can do it pretty well on air guitar
>>
>>128733932
I never understood how you're supposed to pluck the damn strings without looking. Or how you alternate picking.
>>
>>128733932
it's really not that hard and especially not for what this guy plays. you could have said it's hard to down pick everything for as long as he does but nooo muh scientific technique
>>
>>128734012
have you never learned a skill? cant parallel contrast the experience of learning something new to how you're supposed to pluck the strings without looking? lmao brainlet
>>
>>128734012
>pluck the damn strings without looking
Motor memory.
>Or how you alternate picking
What's the problem?
>>
>>128733932
it's harder to move each limb independently
>>
>>128733932
I don't give two shits about how "hard" it is to make and play a song, all I care about is how good it sounds. If it sounds good I will appreciate it, if it does not, I won't, simple as that. And no, I will not care about the consequences of thinking like this leading to people overrating and overplaying shit music and leading to fewer and fewer musicians creating new good music. I already know a good number of songs I like and which nobody stops me from listening. Were they hard to play? Don't know, don't care.

>>128733932
i synchronize both hands when i'm jorkin it
>>
>>128733932
Can you get passed the first stage in nes Mario bros?
Then you can play guitar.
It's literally that easy.
>>
>>128733932
Piano plays treble and bass with separate hands. Guitar is hard but not that hard
>>
>>128734249
I mean, you can play piano on guitar
>>
>>128733932
It's hard to breath manually, especially if you do it with only exhalations
>>
>>128734249
Organ players use feet as well, like drummers but less rhythmic.
>>
I don't think the average person appreciates the fact he gimped himself by holding the pick like a pen instead of the traditional way and still played well.
>>
>>128736220
>those fingernails
Did he also dress in drag at night?
>>
>>128736220
lol I pick like that because of him. Trying the traditional way feels gross and unstable
>>
>>128736195
>>less rhythmic

only if you want it to be
>>
>>128733932
I don't think people appreciate the stamina required. I could maybe play Master of Puppets at speed with a lot of practise but then you got play 12 other songs that are all fast downpicking chugging. It's pretty tiring. And he sings as well, he's a beast
>>
>>128738388
>And he sings as well

With great vocals and stage presence
>>
>>128734012
it's called muscle memory
>>
>>128733932
the unwashed masses only appreciate what their hebrew overlords tell them to appreciate. these high profile performers all hate the peasants that comprise their audience and I don't blame them for it.
>>
>>128733932
It's crazy how people can play piano and both hands are playing different things simultaneously. I could never
>>
>>128738663
You do different things with both hands at the same time all the time.
>>
>>128738279
I did too but taught myself to hold the pick properly in the last few months, what a difference it made, his grip is only good for playing thrash power chords fast I don't know how the fuck he could play individual strings with any sort of finesse.
>>
>>128738663
yea and splitting parts between both hands
>>
99% of men could never even begin to do what he's doing here, not even at 75% the speed
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yHJBDeshPA
>>
downstrokes are easy and Johnny Ramone openly mocked people who said he was good at guitar
>>
>>128734012
>I never understood how you do alternate picking
Neither does James Hetfield.
>>
>>128734173
I don’t necessarily disagree, the song should always come first. I do think this attitude paints you as a consumer rather than a creator, however. If you’re a musician you should at least be able to appreciate the beauty and skill of technique.
