Why is this place so fucking miserable? I thought the music board was supposed to love and be excited about, you know, music.>B-b-but music sucks now! Then go discover older bands, there's plenty of great music you haven't heard yet. It's not that hard to find with the internet. Instead you'd rather just cry like a bitch.
>>128738481zoomer music nerds are repulsed by 4chan (can't blame them)
>>128738481"WHY IS THIS PLACE SO MISERABLE" he moans in his whiny negative meta thread
>>128738481terminal contrarianism
>>128738481make some positive threads then, bitch.
might as well hijack this shitty thread and turn it into a metasnapshot of page 1>128738893jacob collier thread, seems like a genuine post. One anon is accusing OP of being jacob collier, which is always a retarded thing to post in positive threads>128740334KPOP general of course. I don't really care that there are always 6 kpop generals up but it is stupid, and every single one of them is extremely boring. I would love to know the psychology of someone who participates in these>128736674shirley manson beach ball thread, decent thread>128731212guitar and bass general, solid general, fun discussion>128740385rapper nobody cares about got killed, anon probably just wants to start a thread about black people>128740411indie rock song op appreciates>128678109/bleep/, solid general, mostly just links to songs>128740382thread about jazz ballads with a link to a song>128740312thread about alice in chains album>128735575thread about jimmy page>128738930/wpop/, consistently almost as boring as /kpop/. It's the same posters in both threads right?>128736810/metal/, seems like good theme for a general but there's a weird amount of /kpop/esque waifuposting in there>128739237thread about how merriweather post pavillion sucks, seems to be bait>128736372smartphone bans in music theatres, good topicOverall not that bad
It's because of Illiterate zoomers who lack basic reading skills. They genuinely cannot parse a sentence and will respond not to what you actually said, but to their best guess as to what you said. Add on to that, their idea of "thinking for yourself" is simply hating what is popular and liking what is unpopular, and you get a dangerous combination of retardation and elitism.
>>128738481ive never known it to not be miserable. even in the GOOD OL DAYS. back then in the mid/late 00s I was a teenager though and i was very much into the current indie shit happening, so I do look at it a bit rose-tinted but it's always sucked here
