I personally also like the first track. The one thing that is taking me out is - some sounds just stay static without any movement. The backing sounds i mean like the chords in Sjo, that clap in Almighty God and same with that delayed chord hits in Tallar. If you very gently have them weave in and out or have any kind of subtle automation on them maybe that will help. Track two has Boards of Canada vibes but the placement of it in the tracklist is a bit strange. Maybe it would work better as a closing track? Approprinquare has a strong idea. The panned hits can be lowered in volume so they just graze the ears, and the snare can use some processing but even if you leave it as it is, some automation on that delay would help. I didnt vibe much with Ora pro nis so dont have much to say about it but I understand these kinds of tracks can sneak their way in due to personal bias if you have fun making them. The closing track is sweet but again dont have much to say about that either. But yeah overall the album has emotional weight behind it. i could not get into Save Us but I enjoyed Shake It except the middle portion of it when things change, that part felt random. Nice tune though.
