Entire album is depressing? Prob Stabbing Westward Darkest Days.Possibly several Swans albums if you consider that depressing.A few standout songs come to mind though:Blackbird Raum - A Rat in my Dream (both the Starling Host and Swidden version, play with the listen order, i still can't decide which one is more depressing)Swans - Love will Save You, and Finally Peace
pic rel is the finest in canadian angst. uninhibited, untitled, failure, now and then are the most crushing tracks. >>128793319what i always say about alice in chains is that they’re the opposite of my “comfort band”. they never fail to put me in a dark place. particularly the self titled, and dirt as a close second.
Stage Four by Touche Amore. the entire album is about the vocalist's mother who died of cancer and how he regrets he didn't spend more time together. the vocal performance and lyrics make it a raw experience.
Always felt this was Katatonia's most miserable album.https://youtu.be/-6R7BknRFCU?si=f8BeCQW6WqXGySc7https://youtu.be/3ig6gl3NFG8?si=LWAhbuLjFE3um5El

There are no depressing albums. There are just gay guys who write comments about songs making them cry and bullshit like that. Maybe you're on your period?
>>128801637Listening to full AIC albums now makes me feel depressed too but back when I was depressed overall around college, listening to dark stuff like that always made me feel better.
