I want to understand Tim Hecker's ambient works. But I simply can't tap into them. Does anyone here truly get the appeal?

But I find Harmony in Ultraviolet, as well as Ravedeath to be overrated and not among his best. Radio Amor, Haunt Me, and Virgins are his three standout works IMO. >>128848531Interesting i find those first 2 really boring compared to everything after. Mirages and Country get shit on alot but they are 2 of my favorites. I agree ravedeath is kinda samey the whole way through but i listened to it every night for sleepy times for like a year along with harmony so i dig them the most. Virgins kinda feels bland to me as well but i like it better than the first 2. What'd you think of No Highs and Shards?
