>>128853370Rap is a fairly macho genre image-wise especially drill and gangsta rap. There's a lot of macho posturing and waving guns around while "dissing" the "opps". And because so many rappers get shot there's an element of danger that makes it look badass. So it's a particularly attractive genre for closet homosexuals because they can hide in plain sight and larp as a gangsta while getting their assholes murdered behind closed doors. And because blacks tend to be pretty homophobic you end up with guys like Puff Daddy, Tupac, Eazy-E, Lil Nas X, Frank Ocean, Drake, Tyler the Creator, Will Smith and Kendrick Lamar all becoming rappers to hide their zestiness. (Well maybe not Lil Nas X, he ain't hiding shit.)
