Which is the best rock band from your country of birth? For me, it's Los Enemigos, their discography is consistent in quality while always trying new stuff on every record.

Definitivamente una de las mejores bandas dentro del rock español. Tienen también uno de los mejores directos:

Objectively speaking probably Europe, in terms of lasting cultural impact and popularity. But for me, it's Pugh Rogefeldt

From Perú it's probably del pueblo, del barrio, Leucemia and El hombre misterioso. Pretty consistent discogs

Which are their best albums?

OP here. I'd say La Vida Mata is their most important record, but Nada has their best compositions and overall performance, you can't go wrong with any of their pre-reunion albums tho. However RYM seems to love Tras El Último No Va Nadie which sounds like dark grunge, you might dig it if that's your thing.

Swedefag here. Pugh Rogefeldt's best album is "Ja, dä ä dä". It's his debut album, and wayyyy more Swedish prog than some of his later works, but it was extremely influential at the time it was released. I'm a huge fag for prog so I love it though.

Addendum: Just listen to this. It doesn't get more Swede-prog than this.

What about Eructo Maldonado?

First is interesting folk rock fusion with prog and comedic leanings
Second is a punk rock band going prog
And the third is a unique take on psych funk rock

It's an accurate description overall, but they got more grungy and heavy during the late 90s:
