What a fucking force of nature this guy was. He really was just too OP and had to eventually get nerfed somehow. He could do it all. You should listen to his later R&B stuff (especially the live version of Sally Go Round the Roses) to get an idea of just how far he could go, even beyond the typically cited avant garde stuff he pulled on Lorca.
