it hit me recently just how stupid this is when my aunt who is almost 70 still talks about fame like it's the answer to life. She thinks she's now going to become twitter famous for being some political figure because she reposts candace owens shit.

Every conversation with her revolves around "one time I knew this guy who got famous" "I was once the centre of attention in this acting class and everyone said I'd be famous". It's literally everything she orients meaning around.
