>>128870881>Faster Sons daym, nice to see it here t.knower
why are guitarists so insecure around other musicians?
>>128871215One of these days, I'm gonna ride a Yamaha bike while strumming a Yamaha guitar and tooting a Yamaha clarinet all at the same time
>>128871246Because I can't actually play guitar and don't understand music theory but that's just me
Tiny, but loud as fuck Class D amplifiers and a phaser. Easy ass
>>128871339Based
>>128871258Same, I want a THR, like any THR. Everything Yamaha makes has SOUL
>>128871427I wish the p90 revstars didnt all have that weird tailpiece, but who knows maybe i'll come around to it.
>>128871538hmmm what is this?
>>128871592rs502
how do i play like marty what is his favorite anime ?
>>128871145What's that thing on the bridge
>>128871652A lock to stop the Floyd from floyding
>>128871669Is it an aftermarket thing or was it included in old school floyds?
>>128871135One of them OG aluminum necks? Noice
>>128871697Looks like aftermarket.
>>128871592That's super nice. Just need it in red or white.
I keep going back and forth between wanting to put in either Lawrence L90s or CuNiFe wide ranges in my Super Sonic
>>128871705Yeah, gonna post it on here once I get it
>>128871905Is the Boss tuner pedal any good? Thinking about getting one
why would anyone in their right mind spend $100 on a tuner
>>128871905Can you even fit wide ranges in there?
>>128872017You need a discrete, reliable tuner pedal if you get gigs. You're not one of those bozos who bring a clip-on tuner onstage, are you?
>>128871956It’s nice when you’re playing somewhere loud and you can’t hear yourself tuning so you can just use the pedal and to it by sight, or as like a signal kill to cut noise to the amp. At home I only use it for intonating when setting up. I just tune by ear at home but it’s invaluable when that isn’t really an option due to loud ambient noises>>128872017Someone who plays outside of their bedroom
>>128872040Tuners built in to your multifx
>>128872029No, I’d need to find something in normal PAF size or do some body routing
>>128872017Because when I'm jamming and wanna check my tuning it works
^^^chihuahua energy^^^
>>128872078>energywhy do you speak like a gen z twitter woman?
>>128872017a tuner like a Peterson Strobe tuner is handy if you do your own setups, cheap ones can't get intonation set very well
>>128871135>krbasert
Gonna sell my Fender American Telecaster. It WILL NOT stop buzzing, no matter whatI paid 300 bucks for it to get PLEK'd and professionally setup and as soon as I get it, it still buzzes. I've had a luthier shim the neck and polish the frets and professionally set it up, and it buzzes. To make it stop buzzing I need to raise the action to 7/64 which is unplayably high. I put a fret rocker on the neck and all the frets are level thanks to the PLEK. I fucking hate that guitar even though I've owned it for a decadeIs that just a thing all Telecasters do? They just buzz? I mean it, NOTHING will stop this piece of shit from rattling
>>128872017because you only need one and they last for 5-10 years? why would you spend hundreds on throw away picks when you can spend $35 on a single blue chip that will last you your entire life? why would you buy multiple cheap guitars when you can just get better?
>>128872124where is it buzzing
Telecasters were in the Epstein Files
I like parlor guitars because Tom Waits plays them.
>>128871669>>128871697>>128871716That's a D-tuna it drops the 6th string's tension to switch you to drop D without having to do a whole re-setup of the Floyd
>>128872151Low E and A mostly. Anywhere it is fretted. It does NOT buzz when played open usually unless I hit the strings hard. But my relief is at 10 thous and I will go between 8 and 12 to try and get it right. Nope, doesn't matter.
>>128872124None of my Teles I’ve ever had have ever buzzed once set up normally.
>>128871629https://youtu.be/6-rm-vZuWB8
>>128872212does the buzzing go away if you put your finger on the string at the saddle? also are your strings really low tension or downtuned
>>128872207You can just leave the micro tuner screw almost all the way in when setting the guitar up in standard E so you can go from that to drop D and back using only the one screw instead of unlocking the nut and using the tunas
HAI NIGGASIM PLAYING GUITARGOT A GIG TONIGHTbut im not practicing my bands materialIM NOODLIN JAZZHEHEhttps://vocaroo.com/1kjajC1w2TCA
Les Paul bros... We are so back...
>nice room anon got a LP
>>128872342Finally, some good fucking guitar
>>128872342That'll be $4999 plus tip.
>>128872307Think I've noodled over that backing track too
you think that's a nice room?
you think that's a LP?
>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxaUnC8jP5gDo you guys prefer the 12-string version or 6-string?
>>128872124There's always a little bit of an inherent crunch/buzziness to vintage/single coil style Fenders. But maybe that's not what you mean.
>>12887246912 string insists upon itself
>>128872368I wanted something with humbuckers finally. Put 11's on it and even restringing was a learning experience. Plays so fucking nicely though and sounds so full and crunchy.
>>128872469I prefer 6, but like the sound of 12 strings too. They're just too much of a bitch to me. The Floyd Rose of acoustic guitars.
Can we at least all agree Evertune is a gay meme bridge?
^^^lmao^^^
>>128872342faguars are OUTles pauls are IN
>>128872537For sure. All of the hassle of a Floyd, but without even the cool squeals. And even more of a shitty target player. Djenters and tappers or some shit. Faggots who don't love a glorious boomer bend.
>>128872552They're both made for manlets. Unless you have no shame.
>>128872537Yes
>>128872509How do you like your 1981 DRV? There’s one locally I’m tempted by.
>>128872288>does the buzzing go away if you put your finger on the string at the saddle?not really but I don't know what matters. I have a gotoh compensated brass bridge since the stock fender 3 barrel saddles are dogshit. I might swap the saddles as a last resort >also are your strings really low tension or downtunednope. this guitar is tuned to standard using 9-46 strings>>128872488my other tele, which is a 5 string open g guitar so probably not a good comparison, doesn't really buzz, so i don't know
>>128872590It's really nice for low to medium-high gain compared to an actual Rat. I think the Rat actually gets a little gainer on the high end, but the 1981 has some really nice OD tones on lower gain that the Rat can't quite get to.I also have a Moth Electric p. Incorrupta thats basically a Rat clone with a bunch of different clipping options, but I've always just came back to the DRV. If it's cheap enough used I'd snag it.
>>128872294yeah but the D-tuna gets you there instantly. also if you min/max your screw during initial setup, you can't adjust for when it inevitably goes out of tune
>>128872601if the nut or saddle doesn’t have a good ramp the string can buzz really badly like in pic related. if you press down on the back side of the string and the buzzing goes away that’s what it is. shouldn’t be frets if it was plekd but the plek only does as good of a job as the person running it
>>128871629>Carvin>KahlerDid he know all this time?
I really didn't need another guitar but just look at this thing
>>128872854Doesn't he play some kind of hardtail like that nowadays? Like Paul Gilbert too...
>>128872879looks like a danelectro to me
