Even those who act tough or LARP as rockstars seem scared on the inside, and you can tell there is an ideological guideline they must not contradict or their careers are over. As a result, everything feels plastic, fake, and sanitized. Edgy, but only in a controlled, vanilla way.I am not saying that everything should be controversial, but the modern world is so politicized, divided, and controlled by legislation, international corporations, and even by fans themselves, who now act as moral judges because of social media, that a creative mind cannot operate with the freedom necessary to create something truly authentic and free from chains or from being stained by the restrictions of others. Even when writing a completely apolitical love song, for example, I still have to consider the language, the aesthetics, and the way I express myself. Only an artist completely detached from social media, living on an island, could be exempt from this kind of negative influence.At this point, if you do not see it, you are either delusional, ideologically captured, or a total normie.
